the recovery village advocates are awesome. they walk you through every step and call and check on you. which has helped me get through this issue in my life.

At the time of writing this, I am 473 days sober, thanks in large part to this place. (I have heard that there may have been changes in ownership/management since I was here, but my review is of my experience) I had as good of an experience as one can have doing recovery work like this, which is to say, "I had an amazing experience at Palmer Lake!!" Very difficult work with self and others, but the most rewarding kind of work there is. The staff were friendly, helpful, experienced and professional. The program itself was very top level in terms of psychological and experiential content (I know this having continued with CBT and DBT therapy). There were lots of activities which are normally related to substances (billiards and games, karaoke, etc.) to gain exposure to these things in a safe place. The facility itself is in a beautiful location as well. I would recommend this program to anyone! Thank you PLR!!!

I had a great experience, I only went to detox do to just having a short relapse but I ended up staying for the 30 day program. I strongly recommend Recovery Village to anyone that is struggling with addiction or mental issues. The staff are great, good facility, good programs and the food was good as well. Thank you to all the staff at PLR! This experience changed my life!

Not a day goes by that I don't think about the time I spent at Recovery Village. I'm currently 228 days sober. The entire staff was amazing. At no time did I feel like I was in my battle alone. I would love to return and volunteer, and tell my story. As I said before. You will not find a better staff to help you. I was able to learn something from each counselor. The BHT'S were also amazing. Recovery Village. Thank you for a better life. If I can ever give back. Please let me know!!!

Everyone was great. The staff was friendly. Place literally saved my life. I recommend it for anyone. In fact I have referred a couple people to there already

This was my first treatment center and I stayed here for two months. I can’t say enough for the staff here. They truly go out of their way to make your experience as smooth and comfortable as possible. Jimmy, Tisa, Sharon, and Roxann were incredible, I don’t even know what to say about these amazing people. I appreciate everything they have done for me inside and outside for my recovery. I don’t plan on being back in a treatment center but if I had to this would definitely be where I went again.
